The impact you'll make:
Reporting into the Manager, Talent Acquisition, the Talent Acquisition Business Partner's core role is to lead the end-to-end recruitment process for key roles in our Support Office. You'll play a critical role in the hiring of Saje’s current and future workforce, collaborate with hiring managers on the go-to-market strategy, and continue to champion our candidate experience. This is a fixed term, 6 month contract role for someone to start on our team as soon as possible.
All Saje Team Members are responsible for contributing to Saje’s culture and maintaining a positive environment for themselves and their peers.
What you'll do:
Talent Advisory
- Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements and create detailed role descriptions.
- Support hiring managers on a go-to-market strategy, timeline to hire, and market conditions.
- Gather interview debrief/feedback sessions with Hiring Managers and provide context to all interview parties prior to each interview.
- Provide recruiting best practice recommendations based on industry and market knowledge/research.
- Drive outcomes, collective decision making, and candidate centric thinking.
Sourcing and Recruitment
- Advertise and market open positions through the company's careers page and job boards like Indeed, Glassdoor and LinkedIn.
- Utilize various channels, including social media, our talent pools, and professional networks to source potential candidates.
- Engage with both active and passive candidates, matching them with current open opportunities.
- Qualify resumes and applications based on core role requirements.
- Longlist candidates and conduct pre-screening interviews to evaluate candidate suitability.
- Shortlist the most qualified candidates and present them hiring managers alongside your recommendations.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers and relevant stakeholders.
- Conduct weekly connects with active Hiring Managers
Candidate Experience
- Champion the candidate experience and think reciprocally about mutual alignment and fit.
- Manage candidate expectations and keep candidates engaged throughout the hiring process.
- Maintain regular communication with candidates and collect feedback on their experience.
- Ensure an exceptional hiring manager and candidate experience at every touch point.
- Define & design appropriate interview steps and advise on best approach to drive a fair and consistent interview process and excellent candidate experience.
Process Improvement and Development
- Partner with internal stakeholders to enhance talent acquisition practices, processes, and systems.
- Report on talent acquisition metrics, such as time-to-fill, offer acceptance rate, etc.
- Contribute to fostering diverse, inclusive, and equitable hiring practices.
- Participate in any function specific projects to continue to augment the value we add to the business.
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
- Ability to lead all stages of the end-to-end recruitment for your requisitions independently
- Ideally, you will come with a mix of experience in both agency and internal environments.
- Proven track record successfully sourcing and placing candidates in a variety of corporate roles
- You love working cross functionally, collaborating with Hiring Managers to determine fit, and genuinely want everyone you interact with to leave with a positive candidate experience.
- You have a keen attention to detail in planning, organization, and execution of tasks, while still seeing the big picture and understanding how all the pieces fit together and affect one another.
- You hold a people first mindset, balanced with commercially astute thinking.
- You pride yourself on your communication and interpersonal skills, have an ability to work with clarity, some ambiguity, and navigate to a clear outcome.
- You use data to drive your decision-making and analytical skills to track and report on recruitment metrics.
- You’re effective working at pace, can work to deadlines, managing multiple priorities & stakeholders, while keeping a quick, efficient, and calm approach.
- You demonstrate an ownership mindset, while managing your own energy well. You uphold positivity, are solutions oriented, and can bounce back when faced with obstacles.
- You are a self-motivated learner, showing self-awareness and demonstrating openness and curiosity.

The compensation range on average for this position is from $70,000 - 80,000 (prorated) annually. Base pay is dependent on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity.
