The impact you'll make:
Reporting to the Sr. Director, Consumer Engagement, the objective of this role is to achieve exceptional customer engagement, educate our audience in an entertaining way, position ourselves as the leader in the natural wellness space, foster intimacy, drive website traffic, and increase revenue through the strategic utilization of the social media marketing roadmap. This role will be responsible for developing high-impact social content driving engagement, and growing brand awareness across all social platforms.
The ideal candidate will be forward-thinking, creative, attuned to the ever-evolving trends across social and deeply connected to consumer trends and cultural movements that resonate with our audience. You will demonstrate a proven track record of crafting and executing creative content tailored for social media platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, Pinterest, and emerging platforms. The Social Media Manager will manage the day-to-day management of social platforms and collaborate cross-functionally to execute best-in-class digital storytelling.
Your expertise in social media marketing will be essential in achieving our goals and establishing strong brand connections.

What you'll do:
- Lead the development and execution of Saje’s social media strategy to drive engagement, brand love, and business growth across all organic platforms.
- Oversee the planning, creation, and execution of the weekly and monthly social content calendar, ensuring alignment with brand objectives and product launches.
- Drive the content strategy, partnering with the creative team, internal and external content creators to develop compelling, high-performing social-first content.
- Obsess over product narratives, marketing launches, and social strategies to ensure a culturally relevant, transformative, consumer-centric approach in all marketing efforts.
- Supercharge TikTok strategy to grow account followers and views to reach new audience and work closely with Sr. Director of consumer engagement to launch TikTok Shop.
- Foster a collaborative, highly creative, and progressive approach that encourages the adoption of new frameworks, templates, and ways of working.
- Own social reporting and analytics, identifying key insights, monitoring performance, and optimizing strategy based on data-driven decision-making.
- Lead social listening and trend forecasting to ensure Saje remains at the forefront of digital innovation.
- Brand partnerships: proactively outreach for social partnerships and collaborations with brands.
- Manage posting schedules, content approvals, and best practices for engagement.
- Partner closely with cross-functional teams (Digital Marketing, eCommerce, Retail Marketing, and Product Development) to ensure seamless integration of social initiatives.
- Spearhead platform expansion strategies, identifying new channels and engagement opportunities to grow Saje's digital footprint.
- Ensure brand voice and messaging remain consistent and resonate with our target audience across all platforms.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, platform updates, and competitive insights to continuously elevate Saje's social media presence.
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
- Post-secondary diploma/degree in Marketing, Communications, Social Media, Digital Marketing, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of experience leading and executing social media and brand content strategies (experience in wellness, lifestyle and beauty brands is a plus).
- Proven experience growing and maintaining brands on social.
- In-depth knowledge of marketing principles and practices to increase brand awareness.
- Knowledge of digital marketing trends. Familiarity with the latest social media trends and knowing how to use them for business growth.
- Strong communication skills. The ability to communicate effectively with followers and customers to build relationships and increase engagement.
- Strategic planning abilities. Knowing how to plan and implement successful campaigns across multiple channels.
- Time management skills. The ability to stay organized and manage time effectively to ensure tasks are completed on schedule.
- Works with a sense of urgency and an ability to be flexible and agile to meet deadlines.
- Copywriting skills. The capacity to write effective copy and create compelling content that informs and entertains audiences.
- Creative thinking. The talent to come up with innovative ideas for content and campaigns.
- Proficient in content creation. The skill and comfort to be able to capture, create, edit, and share content across all channels.
- (Nice to have) Basic design skills. Having an eye for detail and the capacity to create aesthetically pleasing visuals such as infographics or videos.

The compensation range on average for this position is from $80,000 - $90,000 annually. Base pay is dependent on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity.
