The impact you'll make:
Reporting into the Chief Marketing Officer, as the Director, Brand & Marketing, you will be responsible for creating and managing Saje’s marketing plan and leading a team of Brand & Marketing Managers.
As a key cross-functional role, you will work very closely with every department: Creative, Product Development, Digital, Visual Merchandising, Retail to make sure the campaigns are perfectly executed on every touch point, with the right message and the right products.
You will be responsible for leading categories and product-based discussions across-channels, supported by Product Marketing Specialists and in collaboration with the Product Development Team: regular review of category performance, categories forecasts, and new launches forecasts.
All Saje Team Members are responsible for contributing to Saje’s culture and maintaining a positive environment for themselves and their peers.
What you'll do:
Strategic Planning and Execution
- Create an innovative marketing calendar by developing breakthrough campaigns and compelling product stories that captivate and engage.
- Execute strategies seamlessly across all touchpoints, working hand-in-hand with Retail, eCommerce, and Creative teams – bringing life into the on-paper plans.
- Champion innovative brand experiences with passion and creativity.
- Collaborate on category forecasts and plan sales projections with Demand Planning, Channels, and Finance.
- Partner with the Product Innovation team on product launch forecasts, positioning, and pricing.
- Lead thorough post-launch reviews with Product Development, Channels, and Finance, ensuring continuous improvement.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes, ways of working, and cohesion cross functionally.
GTM Campaign and New Launch Management
- Work closely with internal teams, organization wide, to deliver exceptional campaigns and develop GTM plans for new product launches, ensuring consistency and excellence.
- Drive engagement through bold storytelling, connecting with audiences in meaningful ways.
- Conduct thoughtful post-mortem analyses with channel departments and provide insightful recommendations for future campaigns and product stories to the Executive Team.
Team Leadership and Cross functional work
- Lead the Sr. Manager, Brand & Marketing, and the Manager, Brand & Marketing, with empathy and expertise, fostering a culture of collaboration and knowledge sharing.
- Showcase strong marketing practices, mentoring and nurturing team members at all levels.
- Provide unwavering support, high agility, and positive encouragement across all Team Members you encounter to drive business success and outcome.
- Build strong with cross functional relationships and work together to deliver outstanding campaigns and product launches, ensuring organizational harmony.
- Cultivate a welcoming team environment where all members feel a sense of belonging and inclusion.
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
- Substantial breadth of marketing experience within the consumer goods and/or retail industry, with a proven track record in an omnichannel environment.
- Experience in a Director-level role within a KPI-driven environment, demonstrating strong commercial acumen and business/financial understanding.
- Proven people-first leader with experience leading cross-functionally and managing direct reports.
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with execution and are comfortable working both at a high level and in the details.

The average compensation range for this position is from $120,000 - 140,000 annually. Base pay is dependent on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity.
