The impact you'll make: 

The Senior Product Specialist, Remedies & Personal Care is a highly cross-functional role responsible for facilitating and executing new product development (NPD) initiatives with a focus on the commercialization phase. The role reports directly into the Project Manager, R&D, and Innovation. Together, the team is responsible for end-to-end product development execution throughout the entire product life cycle. 
This role partners closely with R&D, Regulatory, Innovation, Operations, and Packaging teams. Once projects enter the commercialization phase, the Product Specialist is responsible for driving execution across all workstreams - ensuring alignment, tracking progress, resolving risks and maintaining clear communication across teams - until projects have successfully launched in market. 
In addition to project execution, this role supports operational excellence across the product development lifecycle, including documentation, cost management, system accuracy, and process coordination to ensure efficient and scalable product delivery.

What you'll do: 

New Product Development (NPD) & Project Ownership

  • Own the end-to-end execution of NPD projects throughout the commercialization phase within the Remedies & Personal Care category
  • Create clearly scoped project plans with defined timelines, milestones, deliverables and success criteria
  • Build, manage and maintain detailed project timelines, ensuring on-time and on-budget execution
  • Track progress against key milestones, proactively identifying risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies
  • Drive accountability across cross-functional teams to ensure deadlines and deliverables are met
  • Maintain clear and up-to-date project documentation, including decisions, changes and key outputs 

  
Cross-Functional Stewardship & Execution

  • Act as the central point of coordination for all tactical questions related to product development in the Remedies & Personal Care categories
  • Align stakeholders on project scope, timelines, technical requirements and deliverables
  • Facilitate regular cross-functional meetings, status updates and decision-making forums
  • Ensure clear communication and visibility across all teams throughout the product lifecycle
  • Identify and resolve cross-functional challenges to remove barriers and maintain project momentum
  • Coordinate with Operations to align on manufacturing feasibility, production planning and launch readiness 

  
Operational Execution & Process Management

  • Own and maintain accuracy of all product-related systems and documentation (e.g., cost sheets, specifications, product files)
  • Track and manage all components of the NPD process, including formulations, packaging development, artwork and product materials
  • Ensure all project inputs and outputs are documented, organized and accessible for cross-functional teams
  • Support development and continuous improvement of NPD processes, tools and workflows to enhance efficiency and scalability
  • Maintain visibility on project budgets, ensuring cost inputs are accurate and aligned with financial targets
  • Coordinate internal approvals and ensure all requirements are met prior to launch

 

We'd love to hear from you if you have: 

  • 2–3 years of experience in product development, project management, or a related role, preferably within Wellness, Beauty, or CPG
  • Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects from concept through launch
  • Strong project management skills, including timeline development, milestone tracking and risk management
  • Experience working in highly cross-functional environments with diverse stakeholders
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and documentation rigor
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to drive alignment and facilitate cross-functional collaboration
  • Proactive problem solver with the ability to identify risks and remove barriers to execution
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

The compensation range for this position is from $68,000-74,000 annually. Base pay is dependent on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity.
